Join us for a special afternoon to bring to a close our 2025 season. Following the success of our August Guided Tour, we will be taking the same route in an autumnal setting.

Co-curator Vikki Leedham will lead you on a fascinating journey around the Sculpture Garden. You’ll discover stories behind our unique landscape, and insights to a number of select sculptures - focusing on a variety of artists, styles, materials, and themes. Notable plants & trees will be pointed out en route, and some amusing anecdotes thrown in for good measure…

Our Guided Lecture Tour starts with an introduction to the Sculpture Garden - our history, and how and why we do what we do - accompanied by a tea or coffee. You'll then be guided on a walk around select areas and pieces in the Garden. The tour finishes back in the vicinity of the reception with another hot refreshment and delicious homemade cake (dietary options available). 

The tour is approximately two hours from start to finish, including refreshments. Guests are welcome to stay later to explore the rest of the Sculpture Garden, and visit ‘The Indoor Gallery’ - our tree-top gallery space housing a thoughtful collection of smaller sculpture, ceramics, and beautiful objects.

Please note: the Sculpture Garden is a natural woodland setting. The route covers a variety of terrain - some of which is uneven underfoot with exposed roots and stone steps. As the tour is taking place in the autumn - and therefore it is likely to have rained recently - the ground may be slippery or muddy in spots. Therefore suitable footwear is essential.

Come prepared for the Great British Autumn! (i.e. waterproofs, warm jumper….)

Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
