Carole Andrews’ work reflects a passion for the natural world, expanding tiny details of plant and sea life to “dominate the viewer on a human scale”. She uses a variety of materials – having worked with plastics, metals, paper and even roofing felt to create her intricate sculpture. Andrews painstakingly takes techniques and ideas from Origami and embroidery to recreate fluid organic forms. The result is fascinating textures and multifaceted sculptures that intrigue the viewer.
